Saoge 2014 ... a successful show

This year, more than 180 companies and over 8,000 visitors from more than 20 countries will arrive to meet with their peers at the 7th edition of the annual event

Having maintained a steady growth over the last six editions, Saudi Arabia’s largest oil and gas event the Saudi Arabia oil and gas exhibition (Saoge) continues to draw interest from the industry.

The seventh Saudi Arabia International Oil and Gas Exhibition (Saoge 2015) will be held in Dammam in Saudi Arabia from November 23 to 25, with more industry leaders, technical experts, professionals, and decision makers than ever before set to descend on Dhahran in November.

Saoge has shown stable growth since over the six editions and it continues to receive increased attendance both internationally and in the kingdom. After a very successful 23 per cent increase, which was witnessed in 2009, with a further increase of 15 per cent for the 2010 edition, Saoge 2012 exceeded expectations with a record attendance of 7,953 and additional growth of 16 per cent and maintained this growth in 2013 and 2014.

In the past six editions, Saoge played host to more than 1,500 companies from more than 50 countries and saw global participation from all continents with 40 per cent of exhibitors from the GCC and 60 per cent of exhibitors from international countries. In 2015, more than 180 companies will host in excess of 8,000 visitors, as industry representatives, from more than 20 countries, will arrive to meet with their peers at Saoge 2015.


DEMAND CONTINUES

Demand for Saoge the largest oil and gas exhibition in the kingdom continues with confirmed participation from key industry players such as China Petroleum Technology & Development Company, Al Estagamah Global Group, Abdullah H Al Shuwayer Sons Trading and Contracting Company, Alfanar, Maxim, Draeger, Pioneer Technical, Saudi Chemical , X-Smart and others as exhibitors in the upcoming seventh edition of the show.


INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION

According to International Exhibition Services (IES), the organisers of the event, just like the previous editions, this year too the local and regional attendance is high. There is considerable interest from international companies, too which continues to be mirrored by their regular participation.

Companies both regional and international recognise the huge potential that the Saudi oil and gas sector offers, and hence they are using Saoge to introduce their products and services in this lucrative market.

Saoge has an impressive global representation from participating countries, and 68 per cent of them are coming from Azerbaijan, China, India, France, Germany, India, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, the UAE, the US, the UK, IES says.
