Aramco gets WEF recognition
DAVOS: Saudi Aramco’s Uthmaniyah Gas Plant (UGP) has been recognised by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as a "Lighthouse" manufacturing facility, a leader in technology applications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Saudi Aramco is the first energy firm globally to be included in this select group of manufacturing sites.


SirajPower signs lease deal
DUBAI:UAE-based SirajPower, a leading provider of solar roof plants, has signed a commercial lease agreement with Hepworth, a top manufacturer of plastic piping solutions, to expand SirajPower’s operations in Abu Dhabi. Under this new partnership, SirajPower will install, finance and operate 1.16 MWp PV system on two Hepworth facilities in Abu Dhabi, under a 20-year leasing scheme. The plant will cover almost 25 per cent of its electricity consumption, saving 1,100 tonnes of CO2 from the first year of operations.
