The company has opened its new office in Al-Khobar with the participation of multiple industry leaders


Maximising the local content, CCC in Saudi Arabia is playing a successful strategic partnership role with Sabic, which enables Sabic to harness from it vital, value-added benefits.

The mutually beneficial relationship between the two companies has been successful since the 1980s, with CCC offering diversified turbomachinery assets’ control and optimisation applications to major Sabic affiliates.

The company has opened its new office in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia with the participation of multiple industry leaders from oil and gas companies in Saudi Arabia including Sabic, Saudi Aramco and Sipchem. The new facility and local investment enable CCC to localise the business needs in Saudi Arabia, collaborate with its customers in a timely manner, to train Saudi students, engineers, industry stakeholders and to collaborate with its global technical experts while supporting the local contents in-kingdom.

CCC’s local strategy focuses on supporting Sabic’s long-term vitality of its commercial ecosystem, to encourage the development of a diverse, sustainable, and globally competitive industrial and petrochemical sectors in Saudi Arabia.

As a new opportunity to emphasise on CCC regional strategy and Sabic partnership, a productive three-day technical seminar was conducted at Sabic – Sharq -Saudi Arabia. The "Surge Protection and Turbomachinery Control" Seminar covered the concepts and best practice of anti-surge, performance and speed controls, and turbomachinery energy and performance optimisation.

The technical seminar was sponsored by Sabic Asset Engineering Department (AED) centre with attendance from Eastern Petrochemical Company (Sharq), National Industrial Gases Co (Gas), Saudi Methyl Acrylate Company (Samac), Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (Saudi Kayan), and Sabic Technical Exchange Centre. The wide range of the attendees’ expertise from operation, maintenance and asset management enriched the level of engagement and technical challenges discussions.

A great feedback was received from the Sabic team on that type of business relationship, which added value to the seminar.
