The joint venture will strengthen Weidmüller’s position in the process industry

The Weidmüller Group, an international leader in industrial connectivity and automation with headquarters in Germany, has started establishing a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant to produce Klippon® Junction Boxes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its new subsidiary Weidmüller Saudi Arabia Factory.

The manufacturing plant is located in Dammam’s Modon II industrial city and is expected to be commissioned by mid of 2020. Weidmüller Saudi Arabia Factory is a joint venture with Gas Arabian Services, a leading Saudi Arabian company serving the process industry. Both parties are jointly investing to establish a state-of-the art factory in line with the IKTVA program of Saudi Aramco and Saudi Arabia Vision 2030.
